I have 3 systems running W8, 2 desktops that are always on and a laptop that is occasionally used. I changed wallpaper recently and it's basically a theme and it's copied to the other desktop. As soon as I change it, the 2nd system does the same. I have Homegroup set up but I'm not sure where this is set so that I can turn theme/wallpaper copying off.
Heck, I'm not even sure what to call what it does, so I suck at explaining it well.
Comprende?

I think that is by design. Noticed the same thing when I used a live ID to login to multiple computers, my wallpaper seemed to follow me. If you use a local ID or IDs I don't think it will follow you but it might if you use homegroup and the same ID. If you remove the wallpaper on the machine you don't want to see it on, it will likely change it on all of the computers. I haven't tried to disable it or change its behavior.

It's expected behavior, if you use a Microsoft Account. If you don't want it, use a Local Account.
