Thanks, I'll check 'em out. I guess dvrmstoolbox can add metadata, and batch conversions so I'll just be trying to figure that out

Do either of these add the metadata directly into a wtv file?

MyMovies
...since nobody else mentioned it.
If you use the Ceton companion app then Yamm might be the logical approach. I use MyMovies for WHS and have been for years so I've bound myself to that but it might be redundant if you don't need/want the other features. It might help if others explained why they made their choice. I believe they're all pretty well automated without the need to instigate a batch process.

Yammm does not actually update the file. It adds files to the directory where the file is located. The directory needs to be named to identify the movie. The video filename does not really matter. Yammm adds thumbnails and other stuff to make all the information display in Media Center.wilkcards wrote:Do either of these add the metadata directly into a wtv file?
I can't speak to other stuff that is mentioned in this thread.

MyMovies will add the metadata to the wtv files? I have been using MyMovies forever, but I'm unaware of this feature. It just adds the xml files for me...
