Low SNR readings on some channels

#1

Post by vanpsmtg » Mon Dec 17, 2012 3:41 pm

I was hoping someone out there could explain why only some channels have low (21's) SNR readings and most are just fine (30-36). The channels I am experiencing low SNRs on are in the numbered fron 32 to 49 but not every channel has the problem. What can I do to fix it.
My tuner is a Ceton InfiniTV-4 if it matters.

Erkotz, thanks for responding, but I found the problem. The coax connection was simply loose. Once I screwed it tight both the signal levels and the Signal to Noise Ratio improved. My SNRs on those channels ar now at least 32.
