I have been using mce ever since it began but over the years my music collection has grown at quite a rate especially with compilation albums. My tags are a results of days and days of perfecting each one and to enable my phone/tablets to use the information correctly I take my compilation albums as this example shows
Artist = David Bowie
Album Artist = Various Artists
However when using mce to search for David Bowie, only the full albums are displayed
I am aware this issue has always been in existance but after years of putting up with it I thought I would revisit it thinking someone would have surely found a way around this but??? it appears not? I have downloaded Media Browser & the MP3 add on but still it is not possible using that either? Am I really going to have to jump to JRiver Purely for this?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
