dynamic dns help?

#1

Post by milli260876 » Mon Nov 26, 2012 9:32 am

Ok so I've only used dynamic dns once before and remember it being a pain then...
So I've got Ceton companion working fine WiFi, but can't seem to connect via dyn dns.
I've setup a host with no-ip, I've noticed when I try to log on I don't get my router which I'm sure I used to when I set remote potato up...
Anybody got any pointers, I've forwarded ports etc in my homehub. Tried different variations of host at no-ip. But, can't seem to get it going. Ideally I could get a static ip but I believe that's a bit pricey....

dynamic dns is easy enough as long as your hardware supports it. you've set up your router to update your no-ip account?

Ah, I think I did put my no-IP account in the homehub last time! Cheers for that I'll have a look tonite.
BThomehub v2 hacked to work on orange, should be ok as it worked with remote potato...
