Upcoming recordings / recent recordings.. Just got the new Lumia 920, the ability to have the larger tile available in wp8 could give the ability to display much more info..

How would those shortcut options work in the context of a live tile? Do you mean, for example, when the tile is flipped one way, it would be a shortcut to the remote, and when it is flipped the other way it would take you to the main menu?
I'll probably vote for the recording info options in any case, just curious though.

Ok I guess I should have figured that out.
Think about my idea though, I think people would really like an app that's tricky just to open. It would be pretty groundbreaking.

random/changing tv show art of the upcoming (or recent) recordings would be cool.
For the wide one - if you could set two or three channels to show the next hour or two in a guide style view that might be pretty awesome.

Yeah the Poll doesn't work via Board Express Pro on WP.. Sorry for the "post vote" but it was all I could do at the time.. I did vote though through the poll via the Desktop PC..STC wrote:So you can't vote through Board Express or Tapatalk eh?

Don't know if you guys know or not but the guys on HD Nation plugged the Ceton App once again.. Robert just loves it.. But I do too.. 
How are the live Tiles coming Motz? I am actually looking forward to this feature a lot.

YAY! i just took a view of their latest episode. Makes me feel good to have so much support from them 
Will be working on it this weekend. Most of the code is already written since I did live tiles for the DMZ app about a year ago, so the code shouldn't take too long. Hoping to do it this weekend, I'll take a video monday or tuesday and post here.

So basically you can turn on all 3 settings if you want and pick a PC. It will pull every 3 hours from the categories you have on, and then the data that is displayed is random every 30 minutes.... So throughout 3 hours you get 6 different things displayed.

Nice!!. Me likey.. Love the Movie artwork.. Any chance you can enable that for the Scheduled and Recording as well? Will you be able to support the Large Tile size in WP8 to add additional info? I really like the ability in WP8 to choose the tile size depending on the app..

We need to enable images on scheduled and recording on the server side, and once we do I can update it.
As for large tiles I will trying to implement this:

We have a few other things going on that will require me to update some items, so I don't think I will submit until first week in december or so. I want to test it really good and I also need to test against WP8 as well and ensure nothing odd is going on there. Hopefully a Christmas present to our WP users

Cool.. I ordered the wife a surface tablet for Xmas.. So I have that to test with as well if you like. I know you had asked me before about it and at that time I didn't have any w8 machines but I have one PC, one tablet and the phone if you need help let me know. Thanks Motz..
