Guys I'm having a problem with folder monitoring let me give you a run down on my set up. As of right now I have 4 systems one system is our dedicated file server which stores all of our video content the second system is a virtual machine that runs Server 2003 and has collection management installed last of all I run two Windows 7 media centers and they are configured as clients. Collection management is configured to monitor a dvd share on the file server.
Operating Type =Loose
Operating Location = My Movies Tray Application
This is is always on and it auto logs on so the tray application is always active now whenever I drop a dvd in the monitoring folder it never picks it up I have to reboot the server or close and reopen the mymovies application in order for folder monitoring to pick up the new dvd. So guys what are your thoughts?
