My employer would be most appreciative if the invoices went out soon so I would quit wasting bandwith refreshing my email and get back to work.

I'm jealous. Remember Motz said the invoices USUALLY go out on Wednesdays. No guarantees were made. But still +5.hub1 wrote:+3... oh wait, i'm retired. I'm wasting my own bandwidth.....

Please feel free to keep posting that you haven't gotten your invoice yet, everyone. When this thread gets quiet I start to worry that everyone else got theirs and I, somehow, fell off the beta.

man, does THIS bring back memories--of the very early threads about when people ordered their Ceton cards, where did they order from, whose shipped, whose was in transit, who received it when, all the tracking of when what vendor shipped out a bunch of units....
In other words, first world problems.

I remember that thread. I had orders at 2 different places at one point, then canceled one when I got word the other was getting a batch I'd be apart of.adam1991 wrote:man, does THIS bring back memories--of the very early threads about when people ordered their Ceton cards, where did they order from, whose shipped, whose was in transit, who received it when, all the tracking of when what vendor shipped out a bunch of units....

It wouldn't be the worst thing to just tell us if there's a delay. Every time I hear en email alert on my phone I jump up to check. I guess I'm ready to accept there is no chance I'll have it by this weekend. The question now is if next weekend will happen and what the delay was. :/

Well, I'll throw you a bone and tell you that Wednesday's not over yet.
OK, back to reality.

I'm starting to get over it. Too much mental energy has been wasted hoping to get the invoice email. Since there's no logistical reason they would disappoint everyone by delaying this wave of testers it must be a more practical one. Most likely they want to limit the number of people posting on public forums about the current limitations. I'm sure they have enough feedback with the testers they have now to make the next round of improvements. The next wave will probably come after a firmware update or two. It's ok with me, although they could probably help avoid some frustration people have by saying as much.

I believe the original plan was to get a unit to every one accepted into the beta by the end of October. There's still time.

Plans change, and in this case I agree if they did. The posts over on the AVS forums aren't terribly positive, and its probably not a bad idea to get more features working before adding more people to the beta that might unintentionally add comments to the fire.SilverRubicon wrote:I believe the original plan was to get a unit to every one accepted into the beta by the end of October.
