So now that everyone (pressumably) has been sent an invoice, what will people use this thread for now?
Beta Forum access? Tracking numbers?

It's before 9am over there, so I'm sure they'll get back to you at some point today. I'm betting they're busy getting all the beta units shipped out since it seems like they sent out all the remaining invoices in a giant batch to stop all the complaints.

Hopefully all emails will be handled relatively soon. Our marketing team is handling all of the invoices and stuff. They are "usually" Monday through friday . I checked the email account and there was a lot stacked up.

Got mine today! Yes it is very small and so is the remote. I will play by the rules and not post my progress, but I will say that it booted, gave me the extender code and media center was able to set it up, completely painlessly. Now I am off to try to get my beta forum access going.

You're among the fortunate. After the initial beta email, I received nothing. Even after a polite email to Ceton inquiring if the invoice email got 'lost'. I wonder how many other 'accepted beta' individuals suffered the same fate. I wound up preordering one from Newegg.

I suspect that the email addresses provided to Google were not all correct.
After an email conversation with Ceton, I did receive my invoice on Saturday.
BTW, I wasn't too happy with the attitude of the responder, but oh well.

I think this has been handled a bit poorly tbh, the guys here on the forum are great and very helpful. BUT to have to get a pm that I'll not be getting a beta unit well that's very disappointing...
Think I'm just going to go ahead and build a mini itx system anyway as I'll never use live tv streaming and a pc will do everything else... Pity U can't get a w8 rt mini pc!

I apologize to anyone that has been having issues with the invoice process and the shipping and receiving. It is extremely tricky and a very long process to get them all going:
1.) All packaging and assembly for beta units are done in house here (this take a long time)
2.) Each Google Wallet invoice is a separate email to each individual one at a time over and over
3.) We verify order, put in package to ship, print label,
4.) Enter USPS into Google Wallet for each order
5.) Accept the order once it is shipped
6.) Manually approve your forum account
7.) Give you access manually to the beta forums
*at the same time answering TONS of emails*
I think I might have even missed a few steps in there including Quality Assurance on each unit... now taking those and multiplying it by a thousand.... it takes some time. The big issue is a lot of the time the Google Wallet email address doesn't match the email address used for the beta sign up for forum sign up and that caused a lot of issues.
Hopefully this give you guys a bit better insight into why this has been a bit shaky. If it was just software like the companion apps it would be a bit smoother, but there are a lot of the same steps for that when I went through it. It is a learning experience of us to some extent with a large scale hardware beta and we have for sure been taking notes on how we will improve it next time.

Does that mean I'm still in the beta rollout or not? Thanks.
