So is that installer supposed to be 12.11.26.835? Whenever i install the splash screen says 12.11.20.631 even though it is correctly named. The companion app says the 11/26 build is availalble for updated after installing.

Thanks! We are looking into it. Should be fixed soon to update to the latest version. I did test that version out and seems to be working just fine, expect an update today though.
No problem. I just wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a new build. Or you were just releasing last week's build to the general public. Take your time, I'm sure y'all are busy.

I just downloaded the Windows 8 app and it tells me it 'Ceton Companion Setup Wizard' package is not compatible with this version of windows you are running. I'm running Windows 8 64 bit Release Preview with Media Center Build 8400

There are changes between the RP and the final build. The final build is what most users will have which is why we spent our time developing towards this.
If you do not plan on upgrading to the RTM and already purchased the app please PM me.

That's just a ridiculous statement, develop for RP over RTM?curtiskam wrote:This app keeps getting worse.mikinho wrote:It is W8 RTM only. There is an incompatibility with Release Preview
Yeah that's going to happen. £25 to upgrade from the rp. Get it done....

I'm getting the same issue as Yokel. Installer named 26.835 but installs 20.631. Says an update is available after installing which leads to the same file.

It is a versioning issue, you have the correct version.
We'll be pushing out a new version very soon that fixes.
