No Metadata or Synopsis On XBOX 360

Been using my 360 as an extender for a week now, hands down best media system there is.

Once issue, albeit minor, is the absence of any type of metadata or synopsis info on the Xbox 360 for my movies. This info shows up 100% fine on the host Windows 7 machine.

Now, I know the data is supposed to pull from, in my case, C:\Users\Mcx2-DESKTOP\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\eHome\DvdInfoCache and the data is there, I can see it. Finally, any custom posters I change or add DO reflect on the Xbox, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the location the data is being put in.

Further more, I know, by default, the info only get put into the DVDInfoCache of the user that was logged in when the data was downloaded, in my case the main user. However, I have set up an mklink to link the eHome folder from the main user to the eHome folder of my extender profile, so I really have no idea why it is not working.

Please, any suggestions would be great!

Could it possibly be a permissions issue?

Glad to help. I recently had the same issue because the xml metadata files were not being populated to the Mcx user folders. I solved it with a batch file however instead of setting up symbolic links.
