We use an automated Google Doc for all of the registrations, they don't send out confirmation emails just display it on the page. Do not fear if you clicked the submit button you are good to go :)

I was wondering when I might be getting the email for me to accept the beta to be shipped to me. I'm hoping for early September!

Beta units will ship in September. We will have final tech specs before then, but it's coming :)

Will the Moca adapters also be available at the same time?

I personally don't have information on the MoCa adapter. Expect to hear more news though when we announce final specs.

My impression was that the Mocha adapter was built in to the unit as a coax connection. You would need to supply an adapter at the head end or use a "Q" with it built in as well. ...in theory.

What was shown at CES was actually a modular design with a plug and play moca adapter for echo and q.

By "modular" do you mean "USB device"?

What we actually showed I am not sure if there is a screen shot somewhere but basically in the back the Ethernet slides in and out the back and you can replace it with a nice like a plug and play. Not sure if that makes sense.

So plug in cards for either MoCA or ethernet... nice. I'll take the ethernet as that is the way things are wired but in a lot of cases I'm sure it is coax and not ethernet at each tv location.

I'm in! Woohoo :) This is so PERFECT because I loaned my xbox 360 to a friend for him to try it out as an extender and his house got hit by lightning, disabling the Ethernet port on the xbox. At the same time it still thinks it's plugged in. The friend and I figured it could be repaired so he's going to "pay for the repair" we all know how that goes though. Can't wait to get it and hook it up, I've been dying with no tv in my bed room!

Expect news around the 10th. We sent out final beta invites this week so giving people a little bit more time to respond.
