Is this plugin still working ? I would like add it but the last few times I tried it seems like it took me to site loaded with malware.

All my installers, including the "Product Key" are located here...

If I need to reinstall I start with "RecordedTVHDSetup.msi", use the product key, and then follow IT Troll's instructions linked in Hi-Def PC's post.

I amazed it is still working to honest. TheTVDB were supposed to cut off old API access in October 2021. This was then pushed back to “first half of 2022”.
These threats caused many of the big names (KODI, MythTV, Infuse, etc.) to switch to TMDb for both TV and movie metadata.
Hopefully, the RTVHD usage is so low that it is not enough to set off any alarm bells.

Hello Everyone, It is always interesting to see a post on TheGreenButton.tv. Could you please do me the favor of refreshing my memory as to what Recorded TV HD Addin does and how it relates to Windows Media Center.
I'm a long time daily WMC user, with four (4) Xbox 360 extenders throughout the house, but mine is mostly just installed it years ago and the only change was to switch the source of the guide data a few years ago.
That reminds me, I need to send money to support the guide data and also TheGreenButton.tv.
Best Wishes

There is a description of the add in here, https://www.thegreenbutton.tv/wiki/Recorded_TV_HD
In a nutshell, it replaces TV library random thumbnails and movie library colored boxes with art.

Yep, pretty much what Hi-Def said. It brings a more modern browsing experience to Media Centre. Similar to what you see in other media players. There are some screenshots in this post:
viewtopic.php?t=2185&start=80#p110438
What I like best is that it can give you a unified view of things you record and any local media files you may have.

Thx. I discovered that you can't Copy/Paste the key.
It must be typed by hand (and last character is indeed an "O" not "zero".)

For the benefit of anyone else reading, the key is fine. You do have to take care when entering it.
Whilst you can't copy/past the whole key, the safest way to avoid mistakes is to copy/paste each individual block of four characters into the corresponding input box.
