Xvid avi audio skipping and a temp fix

In Linksys DMA-2200, audio always skips or cuts every 5 seconds when playing avi (xvid) files. These files play fine in PC's and network bandwidth isn't a problem.

I have realized that this only happens with SPDIF (optical) output. Once I switched to analog (stereo) output, no more audio skipping or stuttering. I know it's not a perfect solution but now I can watch movies in my bedroom TV rather than on a laptop.
