So I've been using the Hauppuage Colossus for a few weeks now & my HD channels are great. I can convert wtv to mkv by using ffmpeg using the following command:
Code: Select all
"c:\video\ffmpeg\ffmpeg.exe" -i "%_WTV%" -vcodec copy -acodec copy -async 1 -ss 10 -absf aac_adtstoasc -f matroska "%_mkv%"
Problem is when I record something from a standard def channel. Playing it back, the video stutters but the audio is fine. I can't convert it using ffmpeg or the built in Windows to dvrms.
Anyone come across this or have any suggestions?

What happens when you attempt to convert it?
