That all looks good. I don't know anything about the on board video. I would rather trust a actual HDCP ready video card. Good luck man in out of ideas.

I thought maybe the video card, but i would think that would more towards actual video issues, or if the onboard wasn't good enough to pass the digital advisor test. I do have a few other ideas to try, like maybe using a dedicated drive for recording & once a day, moving those shows off to other drives in the computer. I thought I read something about how full the current recording drive can make it not act right. The other being possibly splitting the setup on multiple setups

Yes. I concur I have a 3tb drive just for tv recordings.
