XBox Media Remote - Black or White

#1

Post by UCBearcat » Sun Mar 04, 2012 3:16 am

I recall reading in another thread someone suggesting the white 360 remote over the newer black remote. What are the pros or cons to each? Or perhaps a better question would be... why the white instead of the black?
I hope to also program power and volume for a Samsung LCD with this remote... I assume this is possible.

No green button on it. Also, no stop button, strangely enough. Nice form factor though. Sleek. I like how the battery cover is the whole back cover, it really makes it a nice tight package. I do miss the harem and stop buttons though.

What about a Logitech Harmony 200? All the basics of TV/XBOX/DVD functions with PC programmability similar to it's higher-end brothers?:

Thoughts?

Or if you don't want refurb:

Or even the Harmony 300 (which has essentially the same form factor and button layout of the Harmony 700/One/900 (plus does four devices instead of three like the 200):
