I get an error saying find is not recognized as an internal or external command, even though I have the path C:Windows/System32, and when I try the latest one, it says I need a DVD player I have to pay $15 for, while my brother got the Windows Media Center free somehow!

What version of WMC did you try to install on Win10?

If you're talking about which OS, I tried to install the Windows 7 one, but if you're talking about which version of the one I tried to install, then I tried all of them, but to no avail.

I tried 8.8.5 but it wouldn't show up, I tried 8.9.1 but it asked me to install a DVD player I think I have to pay for, but what I don't understand is how my brother got the WMC free and easy, while I'm having trouble with it.

All the WMC for Win10 are based off the Win8 version, and all of them included the msi file for the DVD Player.

It sounds like your installation of the DVD player is what is not successful. Don't know how to help you there. Version 8.8.5 should have at least let you install and run WMC, just maybe not be able to watch any channels.
