Who does the work on wmc for windows 10? Is there a support or even a suggestion page? I will gladly donate if someone helps me get this running on 10, my 8 computer crashed. I have already bought schedules direct, tried media portal but it is crashy.

there is no support and not recommended unless just using for ota with no cablecard. any windows update will kill wmc. i use wmc on WIN10 on version 1703 with updates blocked, unsure of the best current method.

If you want a stable Media Center experience, Windows 7 or 8.1 are your only options.

The one other option if you have a Hauppage cable card tuner is their Win10 TV plug in. I updated my HTPC to Win 10 just over a month ago and since I rely on a cable card tuner, I could not use the Win 10 hack approach. The Hauppage interface is clunky and not as smooth as WMC but it does work reliably and there is a feature to use it as a DVR with TitanTV listing service (that is free but also clunky). WinTV 10 cost me $12 as a direct download.

I wish WMC was officially ported to Win 10 but I'll just have to live with the alternative.
