Biostar H61MLB bios?
I am picking up an Intel i3 2100 and a Biostar H61MLB motherboard today I am tight budget and this motherboard fit my needs since I am using a Asus zonar PCI sound card I needed a pci slot. Before I put this together can anyone confirm the S3 mode in the bios works so I can power down my WMC7 with the remote and fire it back up quickly. I have the usb HP infrared and a harmony 650 should work fine just wanted see if anyone else has tried this board?

Are you replacing the existing MB with the same Model and Brand? (Biostar H61MLB)? According to the User Manual it supports S3.

No I had a ESC motherboard and the manual said it had S3 but that was not the case. The Biostar was only $4.99 with the purchase of a $99 Intel i3 2100 basically $50 off any 1155 socket motherboard and this was the only one in stock that had the PCI slot I needed for my soundcard. All the newer boards dont really have a PCI slot or have it next to the GPU slot and my gt430 takes up 2 slots. So it was pretty much the only option in my budget. Hooked it up last night and everything works and it sleeps so I went from a e2140 with 2gb of ram to a i3 2100 with 8gb so its a nice upgrade.
