Why did my Win7 system create a VHD file all by itself?
It's 120GB.
Can I delete it?
TIA

Is the system virtualised?

I don't understand what that means "virtualized" but would guess No.
It's an HTPC running Win7 that's been running since 2013 without this VHD.
I just noticed that my HD grew by over 120GB over 2 days and the VHD files show up in the Back up folder.
Thanks

Back up folder?
Do you use any backup software?
Don't you have a external usb drive?
If so copy it to that, then you always have and then delete it from your computer.
