Currently, we still use Windows 7 for WMC connected to the main TV in the house. I have been working on automating the setup and installation of all of the other components of my internal network but I am stuck on doing the same for WMC. I can replicate most of the tunable settings via registry keys but a number of tools and utilities require that WMC setup be run, or rerun in some cases. Is there a way to automate the setup process. If not automate the entire process, is it possible to restore a known good configuration? I am familiar with restoring recordings and lineups it was just looking for something a bit more advanced. I assumed that since there used to be a custom installer market for WMC that there must've been some way to automate some portion of the setup routine.
