Just looked in User Control Panel but couldn't see anything, how do you turn on email notifications for threads you have posted on ?

Cheers.

Hi Stuart, when you reply to a post (not a quick reply) there is an option below the text window to subscribe. I haven't found how to do that after replying (and am not using the site via a pc at the mo) so I go to edit my post then select the subscribe check box.

I see, so you have to elect to subscribe to a particular thread? I am use to the old Green Button (when it worked) and the new Windows Expert site, where it just emails you notifications to all threads you have posted on. This is useful especially if you are commenting on lots of threads its the only way to keep track when someone add's something new to any of the threads you participated in.

hey there, we're working on getting this option implemented. I don't have access to the cpanel for this website, and theres some sql code that needs to be added, but once thats done, i think it should be fairly straight forward.

Ok, I think I've got this setting visible now. Go to User Control Panel>Board Preferences>Edit Posting Defaults. Set "Notify me upon replies by default" to "Yes". This will subscribe you to all threads you reply to.

I know there's a lot of highly machined, polished cogs whirring away in that head of yours Mr.M, but you lost me on that one!
