Australia not in Lineups?

#1

I can't find Australia in the Lineup Search country drop-down list. Is there some trick to this I'm missing? It goes straight from Aruba to Austria.

Schedules Direct doesn't have Australia lineups. If you have SiliconDust HDHR tuners and their DVR Service you can get your guide listings from them using the HDHR2MXF program. I don't have the webpage created for it yet, but it is fairly easy to setup.

Thanks very much for the response. I don't have HDHR so it's back to the drawing board for me. Thanks again!

Do you have a reliable XMLTV source?

I read in another thread here that Australia gets its EPG from the OTA program data:

So you probably don't need Schedules Direct, unless you have a problem with your current EPG data.

I don't know how can you "extract" that data from the TV signal.
In US also each station sends a (limited) EPG for their OTA channels, but the data would have to be extracted and formatted somehow to be used in a DVR. Procedure repeated for each OTA channel. Also, that EPG is not avail for cable-only channels.
