Everytime I go to use the guide I get the error message, "Guide listings will be out of date in fewer than 3 days. Select Download to get latest Guide listings."
I do and then a few seconds later it says guide data updated successfully. That's way too fast.
I then check the guide. I get the same error message. When I scan ahead, I don't have any new guide data from the last time I updated the guide data successfully.
What is happening?
What do I do about it?

I don't know what is causing your issue, but guide data is ending for Windows 7 in two months. Start planning your migration to EPG123.

You can try to run the following in a command prompt: "start /wait c:\windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -uf -dbgc"
It forces an update and a garbage collection. There has been pretty good success with this to "unclog" whatever is happening.
