I installed wmc on an ideastick for mobile use. It won't play .wtv files, but otherwise seems to work fine.
Media player plays them fine.
I am current on Windows updates (done before the wmc install), but I don't plan to use tuners, so I think I'm OK.
Thanks.

Nevermind. Got it working (restart perhaps, not entirely sure).

I can't get dirmon2 to run the service. When I start it through the services, I get an Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.
I _KNOW_ that I have the correct login info in dirmon2. I'm running dirmon2 as an administrator, etc.
Also trying to get the plugin to work. I saw there was a donator's version available that is supposed to work with windows 8, so I'm assuming that'll work in windows 10.
Any thoughts on dirmon2?
Finally, the libraries seem all screwed up. For instance, I have some wtv files on a thumb drive, but I cannot add the thumb drive to a WMC library. The microSD card is also not available, but it auto-adds to the "videos" section. It's all very weird and wrong and annoying.

I had to simplify my library to keep my sanity.
Nothing on the C drive
Everything on D which is a spinner. 5 folders on the spinner Music Pictures Videos Movies RecordedTV. The RecordedTV folder is the record to folder
Old stuff is sent to E which is another spinner that contains the same 5 folders
When I set up library's I delete all that are not being used, and just use the 5 folders listed previously
I never heard of, or used, Dirmon, or any other helper type app.
When I setup Kodi or Emby or any of my other WMC's, they are all mapped through their own library to the same 5 folders on the D mentioned above.

This install is auto-adding removable media, which is driving me nuts.
It's a small form-factor computer, so removable media is the only way to add storage.
I can't even add the USB (spinner) drive, only the microSD.
