WTB Windows 8 Media Center Pack Key
I'm looking for a genuine unused feature pack key for adding Media Center to Windows 8/8.1 Pro.

I have one that was previously activated but is no longer needed (nor is the machine even up and running anymore) - meaning once u use the key you'll need to call up the activation line to reactivate on your machine seeing as it will see it's on different hw than before - but other than there should be no issues.

Was it used with Windows 8 or 8.1? I am running 8.1 and not sure if that makes a difference or not. How much are you looking for?

Was used with both 8/8.1 - doesn't make a difference. I'll be a dick and ask for $20 seeing as it's an 'exclusive no longer on the market for purchase' item now.IT Troll wrote:Was it used with Windows 8 or 8.1? That is a bit cheeky.Ed wrote:Was used with both 8/8.1 - doesn't make a difference. I'll be a weener and ask for $20 seeing as it's an 'exclusive no longer on the market for purchase' item now.
Given Microsoft's recent behaviour with Media Center, my fear is that they will not reactivate it. Especially as I am in a different region to you.
How about half now and the other half if/when it activates?

Hey, I'm trying to look out for #1 here
That's fair by me, no problem with half now half later.

Just to close the circle. Key received and activated without any hassle. Payment made in full.
Many thanks for a smooth transaction, with great comms throughout.

D@mn it IT Troll.... I was the one that started the post about the difficulties in getting a WMC Pack key and just caught up on the suggestion to post on the 'Want to Buy' forum and have now seen this! Grr... my fault for being too slow. Congrats on your result though.
So.... does anyone else have a WMC Pack key they'd like to sell in the same way?
Kind regards,
James

You can't have wanted one as badly as me.
Ed did tell me that he may have another key available in a few weeks time. So if you create your own thread you may get lucky.

I have several keys (5, I think) like Ed's, used before but not any longer (I switched to TiVo). Phone activation should work fine. PM me if interested.
