Cool, good job. Was wondering why you went with non stock cooler - sucks it was just a tad too tall (stock). I would just ditch the DVD drive altogether, get a stand alone BR player. For any software that might need a DVD drive , .iso images and using USB drives to install instead have that covered.

Thanks Ed. This is a build that I have put together for my mom, uncle and best friend to hook up to their TV. They absolutely love it. I would also recommend going with the FC1 Evo WS chassis and use the stock cooler. The fan is very quiet and gets the job done. Plus you would save a money. Disc are kinda becoming obsolete. I have one external drive that I use for all of my PCs.

That's cool they're enjoying their new HTPC, but I would definitely choose a huge HDD over a small SSD. The hybrid HDD's provide a nice speed boost while still giving you a lot of storage for your buck.
