Ceton InfiniTV 4 - More than 2 in a computer?

#1

Post by Jathor9000 » Thu Apr 02, 2015 7:50 pm

Hello All -

I was thinking of buying a used Ceton Infinity 4 off of eBay for $40, but I wanted to make sure that I can have 2 or more of these cards in a computer? I currently have one card that captures 4 shows, and by adding another card I should be able to capture 8 shows in total... Would there be any issues doing this? Do I need Tuner Salad to enable more tuners or will WMC pick them up automatically?

Thanks for your time...

No problems. Ceton software does the job for you without need for Tuner Salad.

That being said, I helped a guy do this about 3.5 years ago. Two 4s in one box. We used Tuner Salad. Still working great.
