Possible To Save A Specific Channel Listing ?

#1

Post by donniew » Tue Feb 24, 2015 2:15 am

I've had to run TV Setup a few times over the years for a variety of reasons to fix bugs or quirky things. As expected it always makes me have to reconfigure my channel listing preference. In other words, when I pick a zip code, Comcast scenario, etc ... it gives me all the available channels, even though some are premium channels I don't subscribe to, or duplicated channels, or just plain channels I don't want to show up. I can deselect those in the WMC settings, but it would be nice to be able to save this configuration off and be able to just restore it next time I have to run TV Setup. Any ideas ?

Use GuideTool Donator version. Works like a charm to do exactly that. Also provides an easier interface to make guide changes like disabling/renaming/renumbering.

I 2nd Guide tool with the donate option ($5).... Works flawlessly. Tried some other things and they would bring back the listings but, tuners could not be used...

See what I did here...
