Post by outatime » Wed Feb 11, 2015 6:53 pm

Hi All

Has anyone any info on the allcetonsignals software/script that's been mentioned, I was able to download the .txt file but I can't find any info on how to run it or install it, can someone please give me a heads up please?

Thank you

the only one I'm familiar with is an html file that you open with a browser ... typically you do not want it to be .txt but it depends on browser (many will see the <html> tag and process it accordingly, some will let you view .txt as text.

(I had seen this bumped so I answered without looking more into it... the bump has since vanished)

you should just need to rename it from .txt to .hta save and double click to execute it. http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/vie ... s&start=40 see post #59

You may need to change your folder options to show extensions for known file types.

I believe you need to edit the text file and replace the http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx occurrence(s) with your particular device address using notepad.

Then rename the extension from txt to html or hta, I forget which.

Open it in your browser.
