I'd list EEE as a problem along with direct router connection and router FW sniffing on the intranet side. Looks like EEE doesn't like long term streaming where as your "regular" packets are passed just fine. You most likely would have had the same issues with a SD Prime.

It's not important now, but just for the record I've been using the same hardware (with EEE enabled) to watch TV via two HDHR Duals (ATSC) for years and I've never had any problems.

My problems came back (slow tuning, subscription required and update playready messages). After a long period of unsuccessful changes in an attempt to fix these, I finally tried to disable the virus scanning for WMC directories. Bingo! No more issues and very fast tuning.
