Scheduled recordings - Windows phone works, Android fails
Hi
Wonder if you can help, this isn't the first time this has happened!
When reviewing scheduled recordings, using latest version of the my media center application, the android version reports no scheduled recordings, but when using the windows phone, we see about 50 scheduled recordings. Why does the android Verizon not report the same details?
Thx
Tony

Silly question alert:
I guess you've already cleared the cache on the android device to make it re-download data?

Does MB have a TV guide? Can you schedule recordings? Last I checked it was very much like plex.milli260876 wrote:hey tony have you thought about trying mediabrowser? the server WMC integration is pretty tight now..

MB has a guide. Only 100 channels last time I checked. There is a record button although I haven't tried it. WebM is the part I like, IE11 on my Win boxes, and Chrome on my Droids work very well through the LAN as well as WAN.

The apps I use have guide but they come in channel form not grid view. Record buttons & series links for shows... Mediabrowser is being developed too and krusty is very active with the serverwmc software.. Looking at bypassing wmc for dlna hdhomerun (I think!!) for the us users too!!!
Lets be honest ceton has no active development on this or the echo.. Its dead in the water.

Hi guys,
I have been keeping an eye on MB3, but need for them to remove the requirements for MCE to be installed, as its being phased out. I can then look at upgrading my version of windows to win10 when its released, assuming that MCE isn't going to be included.
Would love for the MB team to use the dvblink api to create the necessary functionality - http://dvblogic.com/wiki/index.php/How_ ... ink_client, so to remove the complexity from dvblink > WMC > MB3. Too many links for my liking, and too much potential for problems!

I'll take a wild guess and say you need to sync the Droid.tony_park wrote:Why does the android Verizon not report the same details?
I can't seem to find a Sync Button on my Droid. Maybe try Re-run Initial Setup at next bootup.....
Oh yeah, that reminds me.....When is the last time you rebooted the Droid?

Hi Crash
There is the option to clear the cache, which you would think would sort out the date download.
My tablet has been rebooted prior to reporting the problem.
It would be good to hear back from Ceton, especially as my win phone seems to be fine!

Paid for apps should certainly get some support.

Nextpvr, mediaportal & Argus tv are now being developed and either dvbviewer or dvblink is next ...tony_park wrote:Hi guys,

I have used Re-run Initial Setup at next bootup..... in addition to clear cache, (at the same time) on my Droid. Seems to clear the cobwebs pretty well.tony_park wrote:Hi Crash

There is nextpvr and without wmc you will have to pay for guide data.tony_park wrote:Hi guys,
