Folder Images Not Showing

#1

Post by dvelleux » Sun Dec 07, 2014 10:53 pm

Folks,

I am trying to figure out a perplexing issue. My WMC PC is a HP x6200 workstation. I run W7Pro, 4GB RAM. I used to have YAMM and Media center Master, but removed YAMMM. MCM is working fine, since the meta data is appearing properly, but now for some of my movies, the folder artwork image will not show. I find and install the backdrop and folder images properly. I resize the images to 314 x 235px. All was well until a few weeks ago. MCM shows both the folder image and backdrop, but viewing the movie listings does not show the folder image at all. Ideas? Thanks...

What happened a few weeks ago? Is that when you removed YAMM?

You could try: restore to an earlier time when windows was working as expected. Elevated command prompt and type rstrui.exe

Crash,

I wish I can find a copy of YAMMM. I would install it and see what that does, but it cannot even be downloaded from the YAMMM web site...

I'm not sure where I got it to begin with. Either it came with the Ceton Infini4 or maybe Ceton's MMC. YAMM has been flawless for me since 2012.

What kind of tuner do you have?

Crash,

The tuner is not the issue since I have U-Verse and not cable, hence no TV tuner card. YAMMM was pulling some really strange things off the Internet and MCM corrected that. It is just the missing DVD covers that frustrates me. The files and everything are there and correct, but it shows a blank movie cover in the movie list...

What happened when you tried to restore to an earlier time?

Click "Show more restore points" and pick a time when it was working.

Crash,

I am not going to attempt it since everything else works on the PC. If I can find a copy of YAMMM, I will reinstall it, if not, I will just live with it...

If all else fails, you could always ask Pete......

The most recent YAMMM downloads I can find are:

http://www.missingremote.com/sites/defa ... 6_0827.exe
http://www.missingremote.com/sites/defa ... 8_1336.exe

YAMMM is one of those things that has always "just worked" for me.
