USING this--> Ceton InfiniTV 6 ETH - Ethernet CableCARD Network Tuner
I have this tv tuner that i am using in my house. I have two TVs in different rooms and one tv is setup right next to
the network and InfiniTV 6. I am using an 802.11ac router and these are my next steps...
1) Xbox 360 hooked up to the Tv Tuner
2) Desktop or laptop computer with Ortek Windows 7 Vista XP Media Center MCE PC Remote Control and Infrared Receiver

Whats the best setup for stability, quality, ease of use.
Or am I missing anything? THANKS FOR THE ADVICE.

Well normally you connect a desktop to a tv with hdmi and call it an htpc. Then you connect the xbox to a tv with hdmi and call this an extender. You all ready have the tuner ETH 6. Next you plug all 3 into a gig switch using cat5e or 6. And wa-la you get all your channels and recordings on both tv's.
The remote you picked out should work fine.
One more thing, the NIC in the htpc should be gig (1000mbps) as well because theoretically using 6 tuners at the same time would saturate a 100 mbps connection.
