Linking WMC media recordings and the converted files

Here is my situation: I record using WMC to an external hard drive. What I also do is once the show is done recording, I use MCEBuddy to convert the file to a more Plex-friendly format (and file size) (but keep the WMC/WTV file so I can access it easily in WMC). Here's what I want to be able to do. When I delete from WMC, I want it to be deleted from the new, converted directory. I don't want to have to delete the file twice (WAF) What is your recommendation for this?

One idea is to schedule a Windows PowerShell script to run daily and sync the directories.

Thanks for the response Scallica, but I actually found out a much easier solution. It's actually in MCEBuddy. If you choose 'sync files' in advanced options, once you delete in the WMC directory, it will also delete in the converted directory.

Thank you!!
