Volume Too Loud

I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit. In Windows 7 Media Center the volume is way too loud. It is probably 50% louder than everything else on my pc. I was hoping to find a way to lower the volume just in media center without lowering the whole system sound. I tried auto volume in media center but that didn't really do much. The sound was perfect in media center before I did the fresh install of Windows 7 and I did not change any hardware.

If you have Media Center open, right click on the little speaker icon by the clock and select Volume Mixer.

Then you can set the volume levels of the system separately from the levels of Media Center.
