Redownload from Android play store?
I had to do a factory reset for my galaxy s3 and I was trying to redownload myMediaCenter app, its trying to charge me $4.99. I don't feel like I should have to pay for it again. I'm not sure if this is a play store issue or a ceton. What can I do?

Login to your Google account. It should download your installed apps automatically without any charge.... and without any intervention on your part.

To add on what barnabas1969 said, make sure you're logged into the Google account you originally purchased the app with.

Otherwise, navigate to "my apps" and select the "all" pivot and find the app there. That way you can get the warm fuzzy feeling that you won't get charged. But yeah, Samsung devices automatically restores your apps unless you somehow opted out of it.

I don't think it's limited to Samsung devices. If you have an Android device, logging-in to your Google account (the one you used to purchase the app originally) should trigger the download of the app and there should be no charge.

My Samsung tablet automatically downloaded everything that was on my phone when I first set it up. My wife's new phone did the same, it mimicked her previous phone. It very well could be a Google thing or an android thing. I agree though, downloading the app again won't trigger a charge. I know what OP is saying though as it should say something like download instead of a price tag.
