This one works rather well once you learn the buttons. Its programable for your TV and other devices. Has a single button to lite the back-lite functiion. Most importantly the wife has accepted it.

Works as is, no blaster. You can also get it off the rack at Best Buy and other places. I prefer the RCA RCRP05B since it's more programmable and smaller. But it isn't backlit like the URC. Another nice one is the OARUSB04G. It's backlit and less bulky than the URC. All use built in codes for the most part. Any missing commands can be learned or added with codes.

I use the RCA RCRP05B on both the Echo and my HTPC, can't beat the functionality for the very low price. But not backlit as stated above, so if that's an issue look elswhere.

I have 2 and using the Logitech Harmony One with one, and the Harmony 650 with the other. Both are working excellently (though I did have to open a ticket with Logitech because I was getting double-responses. It was fixed within hours by them, so all is well)

Interesting, I've had this for a while and just assumed it was the echo as the harmony is perfect with everything else. What profile should I apply that contains the fix?
Thanks in advance

Just adjust the repeats down if you get doubles. You can do it yourself.

I have the same issue with my Harmony. Can you point us in the right direction for that setting?mdavej wrote:Just adjust the repeats down if you get doubles. You can do it yourself.

Depends on the software. The One still uses the old stand-alone software. I forget exactly where it is there. But for the 650 and other newer remotes that use myharmony.com, then go to Devices - pick your device - Change Device Settings - Device command repeats - etc. The old software is similar. To correct doubles, adjust repeats down. For misses, adjust up. If nothing works, call support and have them fix it for you.malong335 wrote:I have the same issue with my Harmony. Most devices expect at least 2 repeats to guarantee a complete signal is received.
