Hi,
Anyone able to use Microsoft's new remote desktop app for windows phone 8.1? Wondering how it works for WMC streaming. It would be great to be able to watch recorded tv or live tv in WMC 7 on my phone or surface pro while my kids watch Pokemon on Netflix (god I hate that show).

Last time I checked, WMC would not stream in an RDP session. The app may be different, but I doubt it. Refresh rate on RDP is usually way too low. Why not use something else? I've used Remote Potato for years. Works in any browser. Now you can use MB3, among others.

Only caveat, won't work with CableCard "copy once" channels locked down by the cable company.
