W7MC not recording HD and SD channels at the same time

#1

When I try to record/view an HD channel while recording a SD channel, I get a message that says something to the fact that the HD signal isn't present and I'm unable to record/view the program on the HD channel. When I stop recording the SD channel, I am then able to record/view the HD channel. I'm not convinced that the HD signal is somehow weakened when the SD channel is accessed/recording. I think it has to do with a hardware or software issue. Pretty sure my capture card can handle two signals at once so I'm thinking it's on W7MC side. I could be totally wrong though.

The capture card would be what exactly? (make/model)
And what is it connected to - Antennae? Cable system (who and where)? Something else?

If it's the 650 that is listed in the OP's profile, I found a post on Microsoft Answers that says there are some driver versions with a bug that only allows the use of one tuner at a time. Apparently older versions of the driver do not have that problem.

Yes, all my system specs are accurate to what I am running. This is the capture card I am using. http://www.txcesssurplus.com/servlet/th ... Pro/Detail Do you have a link to that Microsoft answers topic?
