"I'm shaking it boss, I'm shaking it bosss!" Since we are throwing quotes out there :) Just saw that last night for the first time and I put it in my top 20 list now -- Cool Hand Luke that is.

--This had absolutely nothing to do with this topic btw :)

Thanks for the refrigerator memo. Decided to have a look-see inside my fridge, didn't find no spam, just some canned ham. There was bunch of expired stuff from 2013 though. There should be bar code scanners on every fridge to inventory expiration dates. Finding the dead one could be a challenge. GPS my Thousand Island salad dressing?

Here is another odd-ball..... SMS compatable washing machine.

Both my washer and dryer connect to my WiFi router. You connect your phone to them if they aren't working and it will tell you what is wrong. It also gives you daily, weekly, and monthly reports on energy and water consumption. I can say I never use it... But it is cool hahaha

I have had very basic washers and dryers for years. NEVER a problem. Same with the old garage refrigerator. I think technology on this stuff actually CAUSES the issues they diagnose. "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" Anyone care to guess who that quote is from? (no Google please!)

Pretty much any device on your network that runs some kind of OS (usually a Linux variant) can be hacked and used as part of a botnet or, worse, used to hack the other devices (computers, phones, etc) that are connected to your LAN. Smart TV's, all-in-one printers, security cameras, home appliances, and many more are vulnerable.

Well, I googled it. Apparently, it's often cited as a quote from Leonardo da Vinci... but that has never been confirmed except in a recent book which claims that it came from him. It was also part of an advertising campaign from Apple computer... and some say that Apple is the ultimate origin of the phrase.
