WMC turns off other players, digital coaxial audio

WMC turns off other players.
If I play in chrome browser, netflix and amazon same time, both audio streams play in the digital receiver.
If I start up WMC, those players turn off.

If I close WMC and start amazon prime video again, the video plays with no audio.
If I close WMC and start netflix video again I get an audio error.

The other WMC sound issue involves chrome remote desktop.
I will hear sound fine from the remote desktop. I start WMC player I hear sound fine. I start viewing live TV or play recorded TV in WMC, and the sound goes dead coming from remote desktop into Chrome remote desktop. To ever hear any sounds again disconnect and reconnect. If I set windows 7 to use speakers instead of s/pdif then sound works when viewing recorded TV or live TV in WMC played into chrome remote desktop.

So WMC when combined with s/pdif I have some problems. I like to watch remote TV, but to do so I have to open playback properties on the remote PC ans set as speaker default.

I turned off exclusive mode in advanced settings in the sound settings.
Now i can hear sound in Chrome remote desktop.
And WMC coexists with chrome netflix and amazon prime.

So what is the possible downside?
Yes, no 5.1 playback in WMC. I set it back, I want it all and cant get that. So I have to settle.
