I recently resurrected a non-used Linksys DMA2100, that to my recollection, always worked fine. I have another DMA and an Echo that do not exhibit this behavior -- if my HTPC restarts (scheduled, every week) this specific extender does not 'disconnect', but rather, freezes in place and becomes non-responsive. My other DMA just goes to a disconnected screen, and I'm back up in moments. For this one, I have to power-cycle it to bring it back. Otherwise it works perfectly.
I have tried factory reset and removing/re-adding the device to my media center. Any suggestions or tips to prevent this behavior?
