Chromecast for wireless WMC viewing

Received a Chromecast for Christmas to use as a wireless connection between my WMC PC and an HDTV - to display recorded TV programs and videos.

Have been able to get Plex to send the video & audio from the WMC to the Chromecast.

Only major problem is that the current Plex interfaces only have skip back 15 seconds - no skip forward - so skipping over commercials doesn't work very well.

Is anyone else using Chromecast for Recorded TV viewing - and have a solution for commercial skip? (without having to create a second video file with the commercials already removed)

Plex pushed an update to their Android app yesterday that added back the "skip forward 30 seconds" feature - and I was able to successfully display a WTV RecordedTV program and skip over the commercials (using the Android app) through Chromecast - wirelessly.

Now, if we were able to get Remote Potato Live app and the Remote Potato server to also support Chromecast - we'd almost have a $35 wireless media center extender...
