Protected Shows during WMC 8.1 upgrade

Protected Shows during WMC 8.1 upgrade
I have a WMC 8 that has the ceton with recorded hbo shows. Has anyone upgraded to 8.1 and did the DRM transfer with the upgrade?

I went from 8 to 8.1 and am still able to get all the HBO and protected shows. I've been running for 3 weeks on 1 machine with an upgrade with no problem.
