Ceton updating firmware fails to stick...
Recently, I've been having a problem with updating the Ceton card with the latest 1.0.9.5 firmware. I would update it via the Ceton diagnostic tool where it would correctly update it to 1.0.9.5. Reboot my PC and everything is fine. Both the Ceton diagnostic tool and web console page identifies the firmware to be 1.0.9.5. I would check occasionally to confirm the firmware is still the latest version. After about a day or so, I would check the firmware version and find that it had returned to its original factory version, 1.0.2.8.
I've tried several times updating the firmware, cold reboots, etc., and the firmware update would return back to its original version after a day. I've had some intermittent reliability issues with the card where WMC7 would respond with no tuners found. After a reboot, all would be fine, Ceton tuners were present. The forums have indicated a firmware update may help with the reliability issue. Until I can resolve this firmware issue, I won't know whether the latest firmware version will take care of this.
My WMC7 machine used specifically for just one purpose, WMC7 with Ceton InfiniTV4 card. It's been updated with all the latest Ceton drivers except the fact the firmware doesn't want to stay updated.
I've opened a couple of Ceton support tickets with complete diagnostics logs of the before and after firmware conditions a few days ago. I've yet to hear from Ceton Support on this matter which is somewhat disconcerning given what other users have said about their good customer support.
Has anyone come across a similar issue with firmware updates?

I can vouch for Ceton's rock sold support. Did your few days include the weekend?
Give it another day or two.
I'm sure one of their support team will bump into this thread pretty soon.

If you still haven't gotten a response, PM me the ticket number - we've seen some cases where email systems "eat" the mails from our ticket system. Also, don't forget you can log into the web interface"

That seems to be the case here, emails were being eaten
Ceton Support did finally contact me and will be starting the RMA process.
So my concerns about their product support has diminished greatly.
Thanks everyone for replying.

yeah, with Ceton if you're not feeling the love, it's not their fault.
