I'm trying to follow one of the setup guides for network tuners, and as part of that I've logged into the diagnostic page for the infiniTV to manually adjust its network address. I've reserved a specific IP address for it that's in my DHCP range but I can't manage to effect the settings. No matter what I do, as soon as I hit "Set Network", the page reloads and all my modifications are gone. This is what shows in the logs:
Jan 4 14:21:08 ocur[21]: ocur: sysinit_set_network_settings:746 : default 0 dhcp 0 static 1 ip 192.168.254.3 netmask 255.255.255.0
Jan 4 14:21:09 ocur[21]: ocur: sysinit_restart_network:274 : default 1 dhcp 0 static 0 ip 192.168.200.1
Jan 4 14:21:09 ocur[21]: ocur: sysinit_restart_network:324 : ifconfig ctn0 192.168.200.1
Jan 4 14:21:09 ocur[21]: libupnp: UpnpUpdateHostIP:4102 : new ip 192.168.200.1
Driver 1.0.2.4, firmware rev 1.1.7.2
Any ideas?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to have the 192.168.200.1 address in order to communicate with the card.

That doesn't make any sense in the context of the guides instructing you to change it from a DHCP server to either a fixed or a dynamic client.
At any rate, the built-in configuration doesn't work and the manual configuration doesn't work. Whenever I try using the Network Tuner setup wizard, I end up with no working tuners anywhere. It's like my (quite simple) network configuration is confusing the wizard and it can't set up my bridge correctly. During the setup wizard, it prompted me for an IP. I gave it the one I was trying to assign in the webpage (192.168.254.31, ignore the log that says "192.168.254.3", though that would've worked too). The setup process completed, and then none of the tuners were visible to the PC, and my bridge has a dynamic address of .48 now. When I try to ping .31, it's not routable.
My desktop can't see the tuners either.

So apparently "restore network configuration" doesn't actually do the whole shebang. After trying to manually adjust parts of the bridge adapter, I had set a static IP for the cablecard adapter driver itself. When I gave up and tried to put Humpty Dumpty back together again, Media Center wouldn't see the tuners for anything no matter how much resetting I did. I eventually checked and saw that my static IP setting was still there, changed it back to DHCP, and magically my tuners are visible again.
