WMC 8.1 Recorded TV Playback issues

Hi,

I'm have a problem when I'm playing back recorded TV. The problem I get is that when I hit the skip button to skip over ads or click on the progress bar to skip though a show the picture freezes, sometimes the sounds stops as well, but sometimes it keeps playing. If I hit stop and then resume it starts playing again fine, and will continue playing OK until I try skipping again. Sometime the skipping works, say the first 2-3 but its after that is freezes.

This happens both with recorded TV and shows that are recording while I play them back.

I'm using a HDHomeRun network DVB-T tuner.

Anybody got any ideas? I've tried moving the recorded tv folder from one hard drive to another, even had it on a SSD for awhile, tried uninstalling and reinstalling WMC and nothing seems to make any difference.
