Card Slow To Respond

#1

What firmware should be used with a Infinitv 4 pcie and Mythtv? I have a card using 1.2.2.6 while the linux driver page says the latest is 1.1.8.2. Usually more is better but I have a card that is, for the lack of a better term, laggy. It rarely responds to the LinHES v8 probe program, discover_ceton.py, and is almost never ready when the backend starts causing the tuners to fail during discovery. I defer backend start up with a sleep statement. Usually the first try at live TV results in the infamaous 'jump file error' message. I am wondering if the card is bad or just maybe the firmware is wrong for linux applications.

1.2.2.6 should work fine with Linux. How quickly is your back-end coming up? The card should be ready in well under a minute after power-up.
